'Tales of Intrigue' is a set of three compositions written for Chamber Orchestra. Each piece tells a story of excitement and mystery in its own way.

I wrote ‘Tales of Intrigue’ with no title or theme in mind. It took me a while to come up with a title. After a while I realized that my interest in crime dramas and detective stories influenced this music and the title.

When writing this piece, my goal was to engage the listener's imagination. When I listen to this piece, I hear and see pictures of danger, suspense and adventure.

You will hear many polyrhythms and a very strong Brass presence throughout all three pieces.
